The Final of Opportunity Knocks takes place on Friday, 27th February, at 7.45pm with the best of the best for 2015 on stage . A great nights entertainment is promised. Your support would be much appreciated. Top score at last weeks whist was won by Peg McDonald. First lady was Rosari Gillick second lady was shared by Breda O'Connor and May Murphy, half time lady was Paidi. First gent was shared by Marie Cushe and Noel Carter, third gent as Nancy Forde and half time gent was Jack Gethings. Raffle winners on the night were Paudie Doyle, Keith Bailey and Violet Bailey. Operation Transformation

Another successful week in Operation Transformation a total loss of 3st 11lb was lost well done to all. This week blood pressure checks will be done again by our nurses. Thanks to Jane Hughes and Aileen Mooney who gave an interesting talk on the benefits of Aloe vera products.Read more …

Sympathies Sympathies are extended to Patrick, Dermot , John and underage coach, Ray Kelly, and family of Marie Kelly, Tinnock, who passed away last week. Underage First games at underage are getting close with under 10/12 and 14s all participating in the hurling indoor tournaments in Castletown this month. Minor Minor footballers start their fixtures on Sunday, March 1st. Club Lotto There was one match three winner in last weeks Lotto, who receives €200. Not to late to join in the crochet class on Monday, February 16th, in Kilanerin Hall at 7.30pm. Libby Fortune is set to take this group from beginners to masterclass. New Hall building fund

Ballyfad Hall committee will commence their fund raising for the new Hall building fund with a firewood auction on Sunday, 30th November, in Ballyfad at 1.30pm. Also on the auction will be some quality household items. Donations of firewood os saleable household items would be greatly appreciated.
