First lady was Chrisise Kinsella, second lady was Eileen Furlong, third lady was shared by Mary McCarthy and Rosari Gillick, half time lady was Sadie Owens and Ann Cowman. First gent was shared by M.E.A and Peg Byrne, third gent was Peg McDonald, and half time gent was David Tomkins. Raffle winners on the night were William Lee, Jack Stanley and Chrissie Kinsella. Ballyfad Patron & Field Day

The Patron begins at 2pm on Sunday, 19th July, followed by the Field Day. People are asked to tidy their family graves old and new for the annual Patron.  A meeting will be held on Wed 15th at 8.30pm in Ballyfad Hall to make final arrangements for the Patron and Field Day and to see how the raffle tickets are going.  Can all helpers please attend.Read more …

Old Kilnenor Historical Society

150 years ago, on 29th June 1865, the foundation stone was laid for St. Peter and Paul's church Kilanerin, by Sir Thomas Esmond. Ashling and Pugin were the architects. The parish priest was Rev. Peter Doyle, C.C was Fr. Cahill.  Any local stories on the building of the church would be welcome by the history group. Our next meeting is on 16th July at 9pm in Ballyfad hall.Read more …

Jim Carton Memorial

The Jim Carton Memorial 5 mile road run and 6k family walk in Ballyfad Woods will take place at 11am. Cost €17 for runners, €10 walkers, and children free.  Registration from 9.45amto 10.30am on the day.  T-shirt  for runners.  Prizes for first three male and female runners. Proceeds for North Wexford Hospice and Wexford/Wicklow branch of Samararitans. Refreshments afterwards in Ballyfad Hall. Jim's anniversary mass at 9am on the morning.
