Thank you for taking the time to complete and return the survey.

The survey provides the basis for gaining an understanding of how we all use energy in our lives. When we understand how we use various kinds of energy, for the various needs we have from heating, lighting, transport to our businesses; we will be in a position to go forward and suggest ways to reduce costs and take advantage of grant funds available.

At the home level, this may find you and your neighbours with lower energy bills, warmer homes and you will be doing this with sources of energy that are less detrimental to our planet. Over 300 households completed and returned the survey. We calculate this is over 30% of the households in the area.

The findings from the survey will be analysed by energy experts and we will have results in September/ October. Please watch for a community meeting to share the information. Come along; see what’s possible for your home.
