About Dr. Conor Murphy
Dr. Conor Murphy, a native of Kilanerin, is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geography and a lead researcher with the Irish Climate Analysis and Research UnitS (ICARUS) at Maynooth University. Conor has more than a decade of experience research climate change past, present and future and his work engages closely with policy makers.

He has published more than 50 scientific papers, including in prestigious international journals such as Nature, Science and Nature Climate Change.

He sits on the National Adaptation Committee and the Royal Irish Academy Committee on Climate Change and Environment. He also had the honour of being invited to address the Citizen’s Assembly on Climate Action.
