Team of the week is easy this week. That honour goes to the girls U14 footballers who won their finalon Thursday evening in Adamstown , beating Fethard. All the girls teams are doing very well, a reflection of the big numbers playing GAA this year.  On that note, well done to the U8 and U10 girls on perhaps the largest Blitz ever held in Kilanerin with 15 teams involved, representing three counties. A great atmosphere, and the way to go.

Well done to the Adult Div 1 team beating Clongeen in R4 of the football championship. The score was 1-13 to 0-10. Not so fortunate for our second team who went down to St Josephson Thursday evening.

Friday the 14th at 7.15pm has the adult hurlers in Patricks Park v St James in R4 of the championship.
Monday 10th was the last round in the league for the U16 hurlers, Tuesday 11th is the last round for the U18 footballers, at home v Blackwater @ 7.30PM.
Wednesday 12th has our U12 footballers in the Semi-final in Bree at 7.30pm v Ballyhogue.
Thursday 13th has the U14 hurlers playing Shamrocks in The Rock at 7.30pm.
Friday 14th has the U10 footballers in Castletown at 7pm and Saturday 15th has the U8 footballers at home playing Naomh Eanna at 11am.   Please tell your coaches if you cannot make a game.
Please support all teams as the season draws to a close.
Club Lotto
More good news. The Club Lotto was won AGAIN. This time the lucky winner was John Hegarty who scoops €5,500 with his successful method of picking the four numbers on the bottom left corner. It finally worked.  There were no match 3 winners. Next draw, for €2,000 will be held in The Gap on Monday the 17th.
Exam Results
Finally, best of luck to all players getting their Leaving cert and Junior cert results this month. Exams are but a gateway on the path of life. Open it if you can, go around it if you have to.
