GAA News
Hurling
Well done to the adult hurlers who beat St James in the league semi final last Saturday. The score was 1-13 to 1-12. It was an exciting game and again, despite being a home game, not enough support. The final could be this weekend.
U10 Girls
Team of the week goes to the U10 girls who won the blitz in Arklow on Saturday morning. The celebrations through Kilanerin was well deserved.
Minor Football
Well done to the minor footballers who had a good win in the Roinn 1 league, beating Duffry Rovers 3-9 to 1-10. A win or draw in their last game guarantees them a semi final in the cup.
League games and championship
All age groups are nearing the end of league games and championship knockout games will start in August. The adult div 1 football team went down by a point to Gusserane in the league semi final last Tuesday. All focus now on their championship games. While it is great to see so many boys and girls at training and games during the summer, please let coaches know if your child will be missing for matches.
Tara Rocks
Congrats to Tara Rocks who have started playing games on their lovely new pitch. Lets hope it witnesses both fun and success over the next years.
