Féile Shield
Phew, what a great weekend for the club. Both our boys and girls got to the Féile Shield semi finals on Sunday morning. That was as far as they both got, but even that was a great experience. It is a little consolation that the boys lost their first game to the eventual overall winners, Austin Stacks of Tralee, by a single point.  Every player and parent of both panels should be proud of their effort. Playing county champions will raise our team’s standards for the up coming championships.   We were delighted to host the girls team from Ballymaguigan, Co. Derry and the boys team from Balyna GAA, north Co. Kildare.  Maybe we will go visit them next year.  The good news is that Wexford are hosting the Hurling and Camogie Féile in 2017. We get to do the same again then.

Underage
Underage games get back to normal. Please see the noticeboard, wexfordgaa.ie/coistenanog or kilaneringaa.ie for fixtures.

Condolences
On a sadder note, the club sends its condolences to Jim and Ailish O’Connor of The Rock, whose father Barney passed away during the week. Jim and Helen’s children all play underage in the field.

Club Lotto
There was no Jackpot winner in the last Lotto Draw. The numbers were 8, 15, 17, 22. There were two match three winners who receive €100 each. The next draw is on Monday, 6th July, in The Gap.
